Privacy policy
This policy covers the MXC Playground app for Windows and the website at mxcplayground.clinick.net. Both are published by Clinick.net.
The app collects nothing
MXC Playground does not collect, transmit, or sell personal data. It has no accounts, no telemetry, no analytics, and no advertising. Nothing it does is sent to Clinick.net or to anyone else.
What stays on your device
The app keeps its own data on your PC:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\MxcPlaygroundholds your MXC profiles, settings, session list, and a cached list of installed apps, so the Apps page opens quickly.C:\ProgramData\MxcDemoholds sample demo files. They contain fictional data, not yours.
To read the Apps list, the app looks at the Start menu and the installed programs list on your PC. That information never leaves the device. When you uninstall the app, Windows removes its app data. You can delete either folder at any time.
Network use
The demos check whether a contained process can reach the internet. To do that, they make a single request to www.microsoft.com or example.com. The Containers page can also download a public Linux image, such as alpine, from a container registry. These requests carry no personal data. They are subject to the privacy policies of the sites and registries involved.
MXC Playground is built on Microsoft eXecution Container (MXC), a Windows component. The app does not enable the MXC SDK's optional telemetry. Windows itself is covered by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
The website
This site uses no analytics or tracking scripts. The homepage video is hosted by this site. An optional link opens the reel on YouTube; if you follow it, YouTube may receive your IP address, browser and device information, and video activity, and may use cookies or similar technologies. Your use of YouTube is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service. The site itself is hosted on Azure Static Web Apps; like any web host, Azure may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and request time, for security and operations.
Children
MXC Playground is a developer tool. It is not directed at children, and it collects no data from anyone.
